OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BEND CHAMBER

Deschutes Women in Business and the BendNEXT Foundation are partnering to strengthen Central Oregon’s women-led business community.

GROWING OUR IMPACT, TOGETHER.

A stronger foundation for the community we’re building.

Deschutes Women in Business has partnered with the BendNEXT Foundation, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation of the Bend Chamber of Commerce, to support our continued growth across Central Oregon.

As our fiscal sponsor, BendNEXT provides the nonprofit infrastructure that allows us to expand our programming, pursue new funding opportunities, and bring more women into this community.

What fiscal sponsorship means for DWB

Fiscal sponsorship allows DWB to receive charitable support through BendNEXT’s established 501(c)(3) nonprofit structure.

Through this partnership, we can:

  • Accept tax-deductible contributions to support DWB’s work.

  • Pursue grant funding to help grow our programs and resources.

  • Expand our reach and create more opportunities for women across Central Oregon.

DWB continues to operate independently, with our own board, programming, and brand identity. This partnership gives us the foundation to grow while preserving the community-first approach that brought us here.

Why this partnership matters

Central Oregon is full of talented women building businesses, leading teams, creating, and shaping their industries. DWB exists to bring those women together through meaningful connection, practical learning, and honest conversations.

The Bend Chamber and BendNEXT share a commitment to leadership development and professional growth. Their support strengthens our ability to create spaces where women can build relationships, share resources, and move forward together.

Help shape our next chapter

Our first annual fundraising event is coming in February 2027. Funds raised will directly support expanded programming and new resources, including a member-based Connection Hub and future industry cohorts.

Whether you attend an event, contribute, or introduce someone to DWB, you’re helping build a more connected women-led business community in Central Oregon.
