What if moving faster is what’s slowing you down?
Our October Learn & Connect is next week, and we’re excited to introduce the woman helping us turn Go Slow to Go Fast into practice.
September’s panel explored the moments when pausing to prepare, rethink, or change direction made what came next possible. Now, we’re going to do the work.

Meet your workshop leader
Our very own CFO and board member, Alicia Jabbar, is an accomplished executive leadership coach who works with leaders at some of the world’s most influential companies, including Google, OpenAI, Amazon, Meta, and Spotify.
Alicia, CPCC, PCC, helps individuals expand their leadership capacity by fully embracing who they are. She facilitates Stanford GSB’s Interpersonal Dynamics course, designs experiential learning programs, and has extensive experience supporting female leaders. Previously, she led product and strategic partnership teams at a high-growth data technology company acquired by Oracle at a 33x return to investors.
Next week, she’s bringing that expertise to our community to help us explore how we lead, decide, and move through our days.
From inspiration to practice
When life gets busy, it’s easy to default to moving faster. But how do we recognize when slowing down would actually help us move forward?
This workshop is built for anyone who left September thinking, “Yes, but how do I actually do this next week?” If you missed the panel, you’re welcome to join us, too.
Together, we’ll explore what intentional pace looks like in practice and how to build it into our everyday lives. These sessions are built for depth and real conversation, with space to think through what the theme means for you.
Bring a notepad or your laptop to take notes. You’ll want to capture the insights and ideas you can put to use afterward.
Tickets include wine, N/A beverages, and delicious snacks by Bowtie Catering.
